A short paragraph of about 60 words is enough for a one-minute snapshot. Medium passages of 100–200 words suit a two-minute typing speed test. Long 300–500 word texts train endurance and match searches for a 400 words paragraph. Pick the length that matches the time you want to sit.
What is a good typing speed for paragraphs?
Around 40 WPM is average for connected prose. 60–70 WPM is a solid office pace, and 80+ WPM is excellent. Paragraphs are usually a bit slower than single-word drills because punctuation and shifting gaze cost time. Use the same typing speed test scoring as the homepage: correct characters divided by five, per minute.
